Told management 4 days ago to have lights put in our stairwell. Here we are today with no lights in our stairwell. As someone who gets home late from work, it is sketchy as hell not knowing who is around the next corner and not being able to see my door to put my key in is a pain. This has been the story our entire time here. Lack of urgency from management to do anything other than take our money The only reason this place has tenants is because it offers government subsidized housing and is pet friendly. Other than these two options, there is NO reason to live here.

This place allows pets and that's the only good thing about it. Me and my boyfriend have lived here for 3 weeks and we hate it. The people who live in front of us leave there dog crap bags in the stair way everyday, then also put there bags in front of our door. There is so much crap on the grass the dogs are pooping on the side walk. On top of that I also have people putting the bags in my balcony. The first day we moved in we.found out our sink leaks we told the front desk and they said give us a week it's been 3 and still nothing done. And the drug scene is out of controll and the managers don't even care! Don't come live here it's the worst place ever!

Don't live here if you have a nice car. Everyone gets keyed and they don't care. Your car will get DESTROYED here, mine did and so did all my neighbors. When I called to get it resolved they took a message and didn't really care. Avoid village park apartments

Do not move here. When you move they will "lose" your file and you will have NO rental history. Even if you pay rent on time. No, you did not provide them "the next day" and because of you I lost my home. Thank you do much. You are lazy ass people who lie. DON'T MOVE HERE!!! THEY SUCK SO BAD

Love living here! We took over a lease near it's end and created many complications with some of us staying and some of us not staying, both through the remainder of the lease and at lease renewal, and Shelley has been so understanding and eager to help us get it all figured out! Great location, nice homes, and excellent customer service!

I lived here for almost a year as a grad student. The apartment itself was way nice. Few maintenance problems which were resolved relatively quickly. We even got new carpet. However, the landlord has NO patience for students or anyone who needs to exit their lease early. Everyone in our townhouse was moving for internships or marriage. Each of us kept going in to talk to the landlord Shelly to find out the process for changing over our lease and every time she would tell us something different. First we could have people take over our lease, then all of a sudden, new residents could not just take over the last 3 months, they would all have to sign for 13 months. She had no interest in bothering with checkouts in May, because that's the busiest month for move out so she would require them to sign through June of the next year. How is finding MORE than a full year of new residents OUR job in order to save on rent? She was basically refusing to do her job and write up a 3 month lease to cover our lease. When I finally found a family to sign, she claimed she had already signed them to our neighbor's apartment, despite that I had talked to them the night before. I indicated my frustration but was not rude during this phone call. Then she tells me, "We don't cater to CHILDREN." Excuse me? I myself am 25 and all my roommates were 25-26. I called her out on it and she tried to backtrack and say students. Regardless, this is a college town and she needs to figure out that students or single working professionals will be wanting nicer than dorm-style housing and will be in and out. No complaints about the apartment itself, but I would NEVER recommend this place to students, professionals, or ANYONE who cannot fulfill a 1-year lease because convincing management to sign over new people is worse than pulling teeth and you'll leave being insulted as a child.

I will not pretend that this is the greatest place I have ever lived, but for the price we pay to live here it is about what I expected. We live in one of the three bedrooms at the back of the lot. When we first applied Rob was quick and efficient, even helping us though he clearly should have been home resting due to a back injury. We got our keys and moved in no problem. There were a few issues that needed fixing when we toured the apartment that have yet to be fixed. We are patient and realize that they have been understaffed recently. I have yet to see an apartment that is prompt with such things so it wasn't much of a shocker. It you move in here, remember that you live in an apartment, a cheap apartment at that. You will hear people yelling, you will hear dogs barking, cars roll through at 2 am music full blast, and the police are frequently here. That is pretty much how apartments work. Don't like it? Rent a house.

Horrible. Just horrible. Do you love paying fees? Then live here. Worst complex I have ever lived in. Borderline Criminal. When I moved in the did not supply a mail key, they then said that I had to contact the Post Office and work it out with them. The Post Office said that they had to replace the lock for new keys which costed $50. I talked to the Office at the complex and they would not reimburse me for it. Those that work in the office do not help whatsoever with any sort of issue. Just a horrible place to live. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I never write reviews for anything but I'm making sure that I write one for this place because of how bad it is.
